Everyone knows the purpose of Tres Dias – to create servant leaders. But even though we are taught that message on the weekend. It may be easy to forget to apply it in our daily lives. Servant Leadership may be as easy as helping out in a school play for your children, leading a bible study or working one night in a soup kitchen.

steve 4Kansas City Tres Dias candidate Steve Eickholt is taking a different approach. Eickholt has been applying the same servant leadership principles that Tres Dias teaches in Sri Lanka.

“[The]  Lord always puts me in the right spot”, says Eickholt.

Since Eickholt has been in Sri Lanka, he has met with church and religious leaders in the area to unite the country for God.

“The Holy Spirit told us to go to a group of 50 pastors and elder men that has gathered from all around Sri Lanka. The name of the meeting… is(pubuduwe) which means -Lord Wake Us Up!”

Eickholt has also provided basic needs for over 35 orphan children in the area. Simple things such as; suitcase of clothes, backpacks, coloring pencils were given to the

children.

“…they asked for food, so we went down to the supermarket to fill up two grocery carts. We can do so much and it really doesn’t cost much.”

Eickholt is going out and being the hands and feet of the Lord.  How are you asking God to lead you?
