My name is Kelli Keedy. My husband Chris and I attended KCTD #9. We are a blended family and we’re blessed to have 6 kids, Payton, Paige, Colton, Lauren, Easton and Aubrey. I am honored to be serving as the women’s Rector for KCTD #18.

The theme for the weekend is “love like Jesus”.

God has been showing me we need to show more grace and love for each other. Unity through our community. To do better, be better, be transparent and fluid and to do it always with a spirit of love.

Less of me, more of Him.

“He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:30‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I challenge each of you to put on the lens of Jesus. What does that mean? To see like Jesus sees, to serve like Jesus, to forgive, to love, to let go. To see the goodness in the season, situation and interaction the way Jesus saw. To let go of offenses, to see where the enemy is trying to get a foothold and call it out for what it is and move forward in love and in grace. I want us to lay down our lives, so others will see there’s way more in store for them too.

Jesus’ greatest act was to serve. Serve alongside me; let’s love like Jesus. Let us remember the reason we serve on these weekends. For candidates and team members to see Jesus in us and want the freedom we have been given.

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

‬ “Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:8-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
