Hi KCTD Community,

I trust your holidays went well. I know many of us were not able to celebrate with the family-like is customary; it does not seem like much of anything in 2020 was customary. One thing that will always be customary is our Saviors love for us. We can always look to Him, our Rock, our Firm Foundation. No matter what is going on in your life, remember that your God is where you need to focus, don’t take your eyes off Him!

Some of you are aware that Tres Dias International sent out a message to all communities stating they had decided not to support any community conducting weekends through May 31, 2021. With that information, your KCTD Board met at its regular meeting this last Friday and worked through all the scenarios that we could think of to see if we could go ahead and have our Spring weekends. We want so bad to open again and start seeing God move in a relationship with Pescadores and the team, which makes this a hard announcement.

Once again, we have voted to skip our Spring weekends. We are now planning on our Fall 2021 weekends. I spoke with our Campground and our next weekend dates are:

  • Men’s #18, Sept 30- Oct 3
  • Women’s #17, Oct 7-11.

I have notified your Rectors, and they are preparing for the weekends to happen. They are remaining excited to see what God has for all of us once we meet again.

Some of you are asking what you can do in the meantime. Prepare the weekend through Prayer and Planning. If you already have a spot on the weekend, make sure you take the extra time to seek God and ask what He will be doing on the weekend and see how you can be His hands and feet.

Plan out as best you can to perform your role with excellence as to the Lord! Other than that, do not be anxious; remember when we “mess up” on the weekend, God seems to shine all the brighter.

I am praying for all of you and know that your heavenly Father love’s each of you. He has a personal relationship with each of you that makes the world jealous.😊

De Colores!
