Dear Kansas City Tres Dias Family,

My name is Robin Latimer and I attended Kansas City Tres Dias #2.  I have been married for 35 years to Roger Latimer, who is the Head Spiritual Director for the Kansas City community.  We have three beautiful, adult daughters – Riana, Renae and Rita – who also serve and support this community alongside my two son in laws – Julius and Walter. We have one granddaughter, Juliana, who is such a joy and delight to our entire family.

I am humbled to serve as the Rector for KCTD #14. On October 4 – 7, 2018, the team and candidates will press the ‘pause button’ of our daily lives to corporately encounter God during these three powerful days!  The theme placed upon my heart for the weekend is “Reveal Your Glory”.  During a dialogue between Moses and God in Exodus 33: 18-20, Moses prays and asks God to “show me Your glory.”  Moses had already received his calling from God as deliverer of His chosen people and was active in fulfilling his assignment, yet he knew there was a part of God that He had not yet experienced.  There was more of God’s nature and attributes that he longed to know.

God honors Moses’ request and reveals Himself in a unique way that indicated a face-to-face encounter of intimacy was not yet possible.  For us today, Jesus’ atoning work on the cross now allows us to approach God in an intimate and personal way where He awaits to respond to our deepest heart’s cry to know Him more. 2 Corinthians 3:18brings to light that we are being transformed into the same image of Christ from glory to glory, from encounter-to-encounter with our Father. I invite you to join me as we experience God’s manifested presence together as He reveals more of Himself to each of us in His own unique way.

If you would like to be a part of the team for the upcoming weekend, there are several ways you may exhibit your love and support. This weekend takes the effort of the entire community! You may choose to participate by:
